Overview
Even in the smaller scale, more diversified measuring systems that have appeared in recent years, engineers commonly need to monitor a scattering of instruments over large areas. The following is an example of using the communication functions of JUXTA VJ series signal conditioners to connect to our STARDOM network based production system.
Figure 1 below shows an example of connecting JUXTA signal conditioners to the STARDOM autonomous controller FCN. Communications are made between JUXTA signal conditioners via RS-485, while the JUXTA and FCN (upstream devices) connect via RS-485, RS-232-C, or Ethernet. Using the remote I/O function you can easily aggregate signals from all over the field on the FCN.
